Cabinet Minister stresses the issue is being taken seriously
Government has responded to concerns raised in a meeting about the Suicide Prevention Strategy.
The public event on Thursday set out how the proposals in the document would be actioned.
However, it was highlighted that government ministers and heads of department weren't there, leading to some audience members questioning whether the issue was being taken seriously enough.
The civil servant on the panel was unable to disclose why those at the top of the departments weren't invited.
