Roll out of NHS digital facility
Island residents have another chance to sign-up to GP Patient Access in Onchan this lunchtime (10 April).
The free digital facility allows patients to view their own health information online - as well as appointments, notify a change of address or order a repeat prescription.
A public sign-up session is being held at the Harvey Briggs Library in Onchan from 11.30am until 1pm - for which residents must produce photographic ID.
Patient Access is part of the government's Digital Strategy, which it's hoped will reduce the number of phone calls to surgeries, giving practice staff more time to focus on patient care.
