Local doctor compares situation to UK
Island GP surgeries are not on the brink of collapse, but there are significant issues here.
The view of Dr John Snelling, a GP in Peel.
He's reacting to news the chair of the British Medical Association's GP committee has been outlining the extent of the crisis there.
Earlier this year, the head of the Royal College of General Practitioners visited the Island, saying there are ongoing problems with recruiting doctors for the Isle of Man, which could have a major impact as a number here come up for retirement.
Dr Snelling says he and his colleagues are under extreme pressure most of the time:

Manxman sailing cancelled following late arrival into Douglas
Calls for 'transitional protections' for migrants on five-year immigration path
'No decisions have been made' over future of Ballabeg Methodist Church
Manxman's departure to Heysham delayed
