TT star admits reaching racing speeds in Aston Martin on open roads
Guy Martin's confirmed he reached TT racing speeds while test driving an Aston Martin in the Island earlier this year.
The straight talking rider says he drove at 180 miles per hour while completing a lap of the course for a Sunday Times review, in the six litre, V12 Vanquish Carbon Edition.
Guy says he put his foot down on derestricted roads - and did not break the law.
He completed a lap of the course in the Aston in around 22 minutes, early in the morning on empty, but open public roads.
We asked him if claims about his speed on the Sulby Straight had been exaggerated.
