Minister questioned in Keys
Economic impact assessments are carried out ahead of roadworks.
That from Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer, who was asked whether they were done by North Douglas MHK David Ashford in the House of Keys.
Some long-term projects have come under fire recently for the length of time they have taken and how much they have affected footfall in smaller businesses.
Mr Ashford went on to ask Mr Harmer whether business owners were properly consulted and informed ahead of works, because he had heard complaints that was sometimes not the case
Mr Harmer said they were, but the department was always looking to improve things:
DHSC minister 'absolutely committed' to reopening Ramsey hospital
Casualty rescued from Polish tall ship
Manx residents asked to complete Census from tonight
Grounded Ramsey tall ship could be refloated next month
Strong field of Manx competitors to take on London Marathon
