Emergency services help ill animal stand again
Fire crew were sent to the rescue of a horse called Harry in Cornaa yesterday (19 Feb) after he was unable to stand up.
The animal, who was suffering with illness and fatigue, was righted by emergency services, called from Ramsey Station at midday.
A mixture of winches, strops, pulleys and airbags were used to lift Harry safely back to an upright position, under the supervision of his owner and a vet.
Unruffled, and following a quick check up, he was then led to a nearby field to continue his recovery.
