Concerned over issues facing the city
One of Peel’s newest commissioners is also one of its most experienced – last night saw Hazel Hannan return to politics.
Mrs Hannan has been on the board before, and was the town’s MHK for 20 years before losing to Tim Crookall in the 2006 general election.
She says she’s been driven to get involved again because of the serious issues facing Sunset City – including infrastructure, sewerage and housing.
Mrs Hannan says the roles of local and national politicians are worlds apart:
