Follows recent 'upswing' in requests
The Speaker of the House of Keys is clamping down on the number of urgent questions being tabled.
Juan Watterson says it follows a recent ‘upswing’ in requests for immediate information.
This week he made a new ruling which fine-tunes the criteria which a question must fall into.
Mr Watterson says matters must relate to very recent or imminent events or developments:
