George Daniel's life celebrated at City University
A professor at City University of London believes the work of a former Island resident could intrigue many people to visit Manx shores.
Famous horologist Dr George Daniels spent most his life on the Isle of Man.
Hundreds attended a special event celebrating his life at the university this week - the place where Dr Daniels himself studied.
Professor Ken Grattan, the George Daniels Professor of Scientific Instrumentation, says the clock-maker's work puts the Island on the map:
