Cost effective solution required
Finding a working solution to the ongoing horse tram situation is vital to the Island's diverse economy.
That's according to David Cretney MLC, Tynwald's member with the responsibility for tourism.
He was one of those present at a crisis meeting on Wednesday (27th), after the announcement Douglas Council would scrap the 140-year-old service last week.
Mr. Cretney said finding a cost-effective solution would do the Island favours:
Vote on Castle Rushen High School funding 'very unlikely' before election
Ramsey Commissioners to host public meeting about cottage hospital
DfE provided more than £250,000 to MT to assist with below ground fibre installations
Man given suspended sentence after importing 2kg of cannabis to Island
WCAS reuse garages to reopen on trial basis
