Cost effective solution required
Finding a working solution to the ongoing horse tram situation is vital to the Island's diverse economy.
That's according to David Cretney MLC, Tynwald's member with the responsibility for tourism.
He was one of those present at a crisis meeting on Wednesday (27th), after the announcement Douglas Council would scrap the 140-year-old service last week.
Mr. Cretney said finding a cost-effective solution would do the Island favours:
