River water used for training exercise
The current hosepipe ban is making life tricky for some of the Island's emergency services teams.
Last night (Mon 13), the Douglas Retained Duty firefighter crew went through some practice 'wet' drills alongside the White Watch.
The two teams used portable pumps and water from a river to carry out their training routines.
For as long as the ban is in place, the services have committed to continue being inventive without compromising services.
