A recent report found there had been insufficient progress in respect of the Island's housing crisis since the general election
The Chair of the Housing and Communities Board says, after several years of planning, government now needs to start acting.
It follows criticism from the Tynwald Committee on Poverty which cited 'inaction' in respect to the Island's housing crisis.
Its recently-published report came with 32 recommendations for government which will be debated in Tynwald in April.
But David Ashford says he's disappointed in the report for not acknowledging certain areas of progress, adding that 'housing doesn't happen overnight':
