Twenty-eight home development proposed for Crosby
Planners will have a variety of views from the people of Crosby as they consider whether to allow a new housing estate there.
JM Project Management of Main Road in the village wants to build 28 new houses along with 4,500 square feet of shop space on an unused field.
But the development, opposite Kissack’s Lane, has split opinion – with residents writing to oppose and support the proposals.
Concerns include the amount of traffic added to the already busy main route between Douglas and the West, while those in support say the village badly needs shops.
You can find out more about the proposals, and have your say on them, on the government’s website, gov.im.
