Race director says weather conditions look 'ideal'
The 2024 Parish Walk is now underway, with hundreds of walkers having made their way onto the 85-mile course from the NSC at 8am.
More than 1,200 people signed up for this year's event, including defending champions Dean Morgan and Lorna Gleave.
The event is a big fundraising day, with Race Director Ray Cox estimating it generates around £600,000 for charities each year.
Ahead of the start, he told Manx Radio's Ben Hartley the weather conditions for this year's race look perfect:
