The Isle of Man was treated to a slice of British military aviation history today.
A Hurricane and a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight carried out a fly past at the Festival of Jurby at lunchtime.
The festival generally attracts around 10,000 motorbike fans to the north of the Island.
There was also a rare opportunity to catch them on the ground, as the aircraft landed at Ronaldsway beforehand to refuel.
