Beinn Y Phott Road will remain closed over the weekend
Motorists are urged to drive with caution this morning, as a ice warning remains in place until 10 a.m. today (11 January).
Road surface temperatures over higher ground remain close to freezing with a continuing risk of ice.
Higher ground above around 500 feet and low-lying spots sheltered from the south easterly wind are most affected.
Meanwhile the Mountain Road remains open however the Tholt Wil Road remains closed until the Department of Infrastructure can assess it later.
Beinn Y Phott Road will remain closed over the weekend and will be reassessed on Monday (13 January).
