
MWT chief exec says development and farming can co-exist
The new chief executive of an Isle of Man charity says it's important to be sensitive to wildlife when building in the countryside.
Graham Makepeace-Warne, who recently took charge at the Manx Wildlife Trust, has been speaking of the benefits of including nature in new developments.
Tackling the housing shortage has been a priority for the current government, while last year Tynwald approved a strategy designed to increase the amount of Manx produce used locally.
