
Today sees the first Citywing flight to Glasgow.
After the loss of the Loganair services to Scotland at the end of June last year, Chief Minister Allan Bell and Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond vowed to work hard to restore an air route between the two countries.
Allan Bell and government officials will be on the plane this morning.
Links to Glasgow were seen as essential with the city hosting the Commonwealth Games this summer.
That event will form a central theme in today's visit with a tour around many of the sports venues being used.
