Douglas man could have more than a million images
A man from Douglas who admitted possessing indecent images of children will appear in court again in November for sentencing.
Forty-four year old Martin Cleator appeared before Deemster Montgomerie this week, when the prosecution asked for a 10-week adjournment while police in the UK examined hard drives and computer equipment.
The court heard the delay was needed as officers sift through almost 30 terabytes of data, which prosecutors said could contain more than a million images.
Deemster Montgomerie adjourned the case until Wednesday, November 30, and remanded Cleator in custody.
