Pool to reopen next month
There is no date for when the leisure pool and new flume rides at the National Sports Centre will open.
That's the admission from Department of Education, Sport and Culture political member Lawrie Hooper.
Problems with the manufacture of the slides and the staircase mean the facility will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
However, the main pool is due to re-open by the middle of next month.
Mr Hooper says he is unable to confirm when the issues with the flumes will be resolved:
