Way we deliver aid is to change
Fresh plans on the delivery of aid to developing countries will soon be announced.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says decisions are in the process of being firmed up, with more intelligent ways of measuring our investments.
Funding models for the Isle of Man Government's provision have historically been managed by its international development committee.
The £2.4 million paid by taxpayers will still be apportioned to the same aid providers and schemes for now.
However, Mr Thomas says the Island is moving from 'millennium development goals to sustainable development goals'.
