Politicians meet with bank representatives following closure announcement
Isle of Man Bank has stood by the closure of branches in Peel and Castletown, and told two MHKs 'the decision has been made'.
This morning Arbory, Castletown and Malew members Jason Moorhouse and Graham Cregeen met representatives of the bank, which is run by RBS International.
Protests are set to be held in both Castletown and Peel, with residents planning to meet and voice their displeasure at the cut.
The two MHKs say in the meeting it was made clear the bank won't reverse the decision, as Mr Cregeen explains:
