676 recipients are paid more allowance than is earned on a fulltime minimum wage
The treasury minister insists the Isle of Man's benefits system doesn't disincentivise working.
A recent written answer to a Tynwald question revealed 676 people are currently receiving allowances that total more than the minimum wage.
The answer works on the assumption that an adult working 37 hours a week would earn £400.01 in that time.
