Public invited to join 'quiet walk' along Douglas promenade
Isle of Man Samaritans are hosting a 'quiet walk' tonight, to mark World Suicide Prevention Day.
Members of the organisation will set off from Douglas Sea Terminal at six o'clock, walking the length of the promenade.
It's to remember those on the Island who chose to end their own lives.
Samaritans say they would welcome anyone who would like to walk with them.
Yesterday (Mon 9), Tynwald's Social Affairs Policy Review Committee continued its investigation of suicide on the Isle of Man, as the panel heard evidence from the health department's interim CEO, Angela Murray.
You can listen to that hearing in full on the Tynwald website.
