5 July bank holiday ceremony moved to Monday
Today is the official Tynwald Day.
Traditionally the Manx national day falls on the 5 July, however when it falls on a Sunday, the day is switched to a Monday.
Whilst Tynwald Day takes a different shape today there's still plenty of tradition to enjoy, albeit a scaled down version.
The Lieutenant Governor will still lay a wreath at the War Memorial in St Johns, and a minute's silence will be observed.
The scaled down ceremony means petitioners won't be allowed to physically attend this year - submitting petitions in advance instead.
And people are being assured the integrity of the important day for Manx people will be maintained.
