Children's centre remains vital to economy
The new Chair of Trustees at the Children's Centre says the Island has become quite complacent about how we focus on children's issues.
John Spellman has recently been confirmed in the role.
The Centre has had a difficult time in recent years, with the loss of some services and staff and a need to re-focus its business model to ensure it retained its relevance.
He says putting children first remains the most important aspect of the operation's work and says it retains a vital service to the local economy.
