Liberal Vannin leader welcomes employment rights consultations
The Isle of Man needs to be a better place to live and work than the UK.
That's the view of Ramsey MHK, and leader of Liberal Vannin, Lawrie Hooper as government looks at improving employment rights on the Island.
Three consultations from the Department of Enterprise are open - they look at rights around family leave, zero hours contracts and whistleblowing.
Mr Hooper, who is a former member of the DfE, welcomed the move:
