Chief minister says it's difficult to balance compliance with competitiveness
The Isle of Man is onboard with tackling criminality ahead of next year's MONEYVAL assessment.
That's from the chief minister as the Island prepares to have its finance, law enforcement and legal sectors examined.
MONEYVAL makes recommendations to jurisdictions for ways to ensure they're preventing money laundering and terrorist financing.
Alfred Cannan says it's a difficult balancing act ensuring the Island's sectors are compliant while remaining competitive:
