The Island Team has been announced in the parade of all the nations at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast of Australia.
The Isle of Man team was led out by cyclist Jake Kelly, who was following in the footsteps of his grandfather, a cyclist in the first ever Manx team in the 1958 Cardiff games.
As the team paraded, BBC commentator Hazel Irvine referenced father and son team Mark and Clive McGreal who are both in the lawn bowls event.
