Former MHK says gov't 'blindly following' solar and wind power
A former MHK petitioned Tynwald this week asking for more thought to be given to nuclear energy sources for the Island.
Martyn Perkins, who served Garff from 2016-2021, wants a group to be established to investigate the possibility of small modular reactors.
He says it's a power source that's been left out of recent discussions about the Island's energy solutions:
