Students spent time at the United Space School in Houston
Three budding astronauts from Ballakermeen High School have touched down after spending time at the United Space School in Houston, Texas.
Isabelle Nazar, Holly McEvoy and Dante Kunstel won this year’s River Advisers scholarships.
They spent two weeks planning a crewed mission to Mars, supported by NASA astronauts, engineers and scientists.
The scholarships are awarded by River Advisers in cooperation with the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
