Local authority investigating alleged unsealed ballot box
The chairman of Lib Van has reiterated the importance of election security following what he's called an 'oversight' at a recent by-election.
An investigation is ongoing after a complaint was made about an allegedly unsealed ballot box during last week's Douglas Council ballot.
Michael Josem insists he doesn't feel anything untoward occurred during last Thursday's vote.
However, he believes it's important to ensure the proper procedures are carried out:
