Tim Johnston believes previous government administrations should have created solutions a 'long time ago'
The outgoing chair of Manx Utilities believes previous government administrations should have addressed and created more solutions to issues being seen in energy prices today.
Tim Johnston says before his political career he was critical of a 'lack of vision' which subsequently has put the Island 'behind the curve'.
Electricity prices are set to increase by up to 60-percent this year with the average consumer needing to find an extra £400.
Mr Johnston says the reality is the Island does need to make changes:
