Students reflect on annual ceremony
Young people on the Island are as politically aware as anyone else.
That's according to a pupil from Castle Rushen High School, who took part in this year's Junior Tynwald ceremony.
Secondary school students joined their 'real life' political counterparts last month to debate a range of issues such as abortion laws, drug policy and unemployment.
And with a general election looming, would-be MLC Matthew Unsworth - who's been awarded a place on the roll of honour - says it was an important exercise in democracy:
