MHK brands comments "unhelpful"
The education minister has come under fire, after telling Kate Lord-Brennan MLC to "just read the report":
Graham Cregeen was speaking during debate of a report he'd put to Tynwald, on progress towards developing a Childcare Strategy for the Island.
Mrs Lord-Brennan wanted to make amendments to the minister's motion, which sought the approval of ten recommendations.
Those amendments were later withdrawn, in favour of alternative proposals from Clare Bettison MHK, which gained the support of the minister and were voted through.
But Bill Shimmins MHK said Mr Cregeen's comments were "unhelpful":
