'Attitude needs to change', says MHK
A former health minister has called for proper benchmarking against the UK.
Kate Costain stood to speak after the man who replaced her, David Ashford, asked Tynwald to approve £8million extra funding above his department’s budget for the current financial year.
Miss Costain used the example of waiting times, claiming statistics had been warped to suggest the Manx health service was performing better against areas of the UK than it was in reality:
