Victim Support says impact has been 'life changing'
Children who were abused at Knottfield children’s home have lived a life of ‘silent shame’.
That's the view of one of the men whose evidence helped send 85-year-old Joseph Henry Marshall to prison.
He was jailed for six years on Friday after being found guilty of five offences of sexually abusing children who he was responsible for caring for.
One of Marshall’s victims told the court Marshall had taken advantage of their ‘vulnerability’ describing reliving his memories for the recent court case as a ‘fresh hell’.
