Five being sold
Budding pianists in need of a keyboard could move up a scale at an unusual school auction.
King William's College is inviting sealed bids for five of its pianos, after the fleet was upgraded thanks to a donation from the Friends of KWC.
The pianos, two Bentleys, two Forrest and Grants, and a Steinhoven have minimum opening bids, ranging from £100 to £300.
Director of music Steve Daykin says they've all been well looked after and regularly tuned.
Sealed bids must be received by 4 December and successful bidders need to arrange for their piano to be removed from the College at their own expense.
