Unique film footage from the 1930s showing a visionary campaigner helping deaf people take traditional holidays in the Isle of Man will be shown here this weekend.
Canisters of film recovered from a derelict house in London shed light on the work of pioneering deaf film maker Leslie Edwards.
He is seen using sign language to help deaf tourists enjoy the TT races at the Bungalow and tourist attractions in Douglas.
The films have been digitised and captioned for deaf viewers and will be shown on Saturday from a mobile cinema in a vintage bus at the Villa Marina Gardens in Douglas!
The Isle of Man's Deaf Champion Gareth Foulkes has also organised a musical treat for deaf and hearing people to enjoy together.
The film is being shown continuously and choir performance times are 11am, 12noon, 1pm and 2pm.
