Free tours for one month only
There's a chance to see Douglas' iconic horse tram stables this month - for what could be the last time.
The stables at the bottom of Summer Hill are open to the public every weekend in October, with tours taking place on Saturdays and Sundays, at midday and 1pm.
Tram horses have lived there for over 100 years.
But Douglas Borough Council announced last month it's to sell the buildings in order to raise revenue for the Department of Infrastructure, which has taken over the trams' running.
The tours are being led by the Friends of the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway - places are limited, and can be booked in advance at the nearby Derby Castle booking office.
