There’s no budget to extend the Isle of Man Airport’s opening times.
That’s from the airport director who says remaining operational past 11pm is not something that can be considered.
Gary Cobb says it’s a ‘fine balance’ to try and resolve the issue with easyJet flights from Gatwick repeatedly coming in late and requiring extensions to the normal schedule.
But he told Manx Radio lack of money is not the only reason he wouldn’t consider it:
