Structure will be one-way for the fortnight
Laxey residents and visitors are set to have a route through the lower part of the village during the TT.
A replacement bridge is being opened temporarily for the period.
The previous structure collapsed during the floods in early December last year, with a bus falling into the river with it.
During the fortnight, a single lane will operate on a two-way basis, with vehicles heading north from Old Laxey Hill being given priority.
Pedestrians must still use the temporary footbridge currently in place.
Straight after the TT, the bridge will be shut for a time again to finish off the work.
It's is due to be completed by September.
