DOI set to complete new flood defences this autumn
A Garff commissioner says she believes residents of Laxey are still apprehensive almost three years after the floods of 2019.
Significant progress has been made on new flood defences in the village with a view to completion this autumn.
The Department of Infrastructure has spent the last couple of months installing part stone, part glass walls by the Shore Hotel in Lower Laxey.
