Three recognised at police awards
Three women who saved the life of a man who collapsed in the middle of the street say first aid should be compulsory in schools.
The incident, which happened in Douglas in March, saw Harriet Phillips and sisters Alison Kneale and Margaret Marley perform CPR before emergency crews took him to Noble's Hospital.
Efforts to resuscitate the man earned the trio recognition from the Island's chief constable at his annual awards ceremony this week.
They say the incident showed the value of first aid training:
