Ramsey team called to assist 22-foot vessel
A yacht had to be towed into Ramsey harbour by the RNLI after breaking down while at sea.
The team from Ramsey lifeboat was called out just after 6pm yesterday after the 22-foot yacht became stranded with one person on board.
A smaller vessel had tried to establish a tow, but the weather conditions and tide made progress impossible.
The lifeboat was able to quickly set up a tow though, and brought the yacht to safety by 8pm.
