Organiser cites VillaGaiety Ts&Cs as part of the reason
The Lightning Seeds gig due to be held at the Villa later this month has been cancelled.
Organiser Triskel Promotions says it's now going to take a step away from music promotion because of difficult market conditions and the VillaGaiety complex revising its terms and conditions.
In a statement, the company claims requesting 100 percent deposits, well in advance of dates, is making it nigh on impossible for small independents like Triskel to organise events there.
VillaGaiety says it's disappointed the event's been cancelled, but fully understands the promoter’s decision.
Full refunds for ticketholders will be made in the coming days.
