Regular traffic problems around McDonalds
The Infrastructure Minister says there is little action that can be taken to help ease traffic congestion on Peel Road, caused by the McDonalds drive-through restaurant.
The issue was raised in Tynwald this morning by Middle MHK Bill Shimmins.
During busy periods, cars can back up around the restaurant and spill out on to the road causing traffic problems.
There are plans for a Starbucks and KFC on the same stretch of road.
Mr Shimmins asked the Minister three times if nothing could be done on what was, he claimed, "the busiest junction on the Island."
Mr Harmer said whilst the situation would be monitored, there was little they can do.
