"We’ve enjoyed some amazing events, which we hope to continue in some guise or another"
Little Shed at The Glen has become the latest business to call it quits due to 'spiralling costs' that continue to affect the hospitality sector.
The team have decided not to renew their lease after three years at Dhoon Glen.
"We haven't been immune"
Spiralling costs facing hospitality businesses on the Isle of Man are being blamed for the decision.
The organisation describes it as a 'head and heart' dilemma, and says "not withstanding Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and Department of Infrastructure efforts, a rent increase along with lease terms, sealed the decision for us."
Going forward, there are hopes to continue in some form at The Shed.
They've thanked customers who supported the Dhoon Glen branch of the business and signposted towards The Shed and The Gelato Shed.
