Local creatives present 'An Evening for Palestine'

All funds raised to be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians

An evening of music, poetry, and community will bring together local musicians, spoken word artists, and poets to raise funds and awareness for urgent medical support in Gaza next month.

All funds raised by 'An Evening for Palestine' will be directly donated to the non-profit organisation 'Medical Aid for Palestinians'.

It's all taking place on 19 September at the Laxey Working Men's Institute.

Organiser and poet Saoirse Coyle-Carroll explains the motivations behind the event:

Those taking part alongside Saoirse include: Laura Corkill, Devon Watson, Owen Atkinson, Matthew Warren, Stacey Astil, Ashton Gibson, Cal Rowe, Philip Matthews, Jeff and Lorcan, Two Guitars (Josh & Harry).

There'll also be a trad music set, and a raffle held with prizes from local businesses.

Tickets are £15 and available now HERE.

Organisers say: "Whether you're coming for the art, the cause, or the community – your presence makes a difference."
