Motorist 'dealt with accordingly'
Police say a 'local driver' had to be stopped from going the wrong way up the mountain yesterday.
The road is one-way from Ramsey to the Creg-Ny-Baa all throughout the TT period.
Officers stopped the driver before reaching the barrier, but they had still driven past the no-entry signs.
Police say they have been dealt with accordingly.
Despite the fantastic effort by @iominfra with the signage / layout at the Creg we have had to stop a vehicle driven by a local driver from driving the wrong way up the mountain. They have been dealt with accordingly. The signage etc couldn’t be much clearer. #MissedMe #IOMTT2022 pic.twitter.com/kawxRUUuzG
